Norwegian Nationals Rd 2 was held in Spydeberg 40 min south of Oslo, at SMK’s large track. With the  heat we have had here the last couple of weeks, tire wear was one of the big questions

In qualifying it was Eirik Andreassen (Tamiya) who was the fastest followed by Kjell Guttormsen (Tamiya) in 2nd and John Lara (Tamiya) in 3rd. Most of the driver used only 1 sett in qualifying, the most used tire was Sorex 36.

The Spydeberg track is a large track with long strights and few turns, but a demanding track to race on since some chicanes are difficult to take speed through them. That makes a difference.

A Final 1

After some crashes in the start Eirik Andreassen managed to pull away from the rest of the field, leaving Kjell Guttormsen and Goran Langsholt behind, followed by Petter Berntsen who was best Xray driver to day on a 4th

A final 2

We had a clean start, and again Eirik Andreassen pulled away from the rest followed by John Lara on 2nd and Goran Langsholt on 3rd, and again Petter Berntsen managed to get a top spot

A final 3

The last final was open for the runners up spot 3 driver had the chance to take it, and what an exciting final it was to be. John Lara and Kjell Guttormsen had a nice and clean fight for 2 nd place. 3,5 min with only 1 sec from each other the driving was superb. On the last lap they had to overtake some backmarkes on John Lara was forced to get out of the racingline and was cought in some dirt and Kjell Guttormsen managed to get away and secure 2^nd place and leaving John Lara on 3rd
